Not bad these days!

Very simple setup. You will need to enable ELRepo for the kernel module packages to be found.

1. INSTALL ELREPO

    sudo rpm --import https://www.elrepo.org/RPM-GPG-KEY-elrepo.org
    sudo rpm -Uvh http://www.elrepo.org/elrepo-release-7.0-2.el7.elrepo.noarch.rpm

2. INSTALL NEEDED PACKAGES

    sudo yum install kmod-xpad kmod-joydev

3. RUN MODPROBE OR REBOOT TO LOAD THE MODULES

    sudo modprobe joydev
    sudo modprobe xpad

4. CONFIGURE/CALIBRATE THE JOYSTICK

    sudo jscal -c /dev/input/js0

5. MAKE THE SETTINGS PERMANENT

    su -c 'jscal -p /dev/input/js0 && /etc/jscal-xbox.cal'
